1. Promoting Convergence Science Culture and Fostering Future Talent

Goal:

Increase public interest in convergence science, nurture creative talent and professionals, and build a sustainable educational ecosystem.

Key Activities:

  • Carry out projects to promote convergence science culture for all age groups and underserved communities, including infants, children and youth, middle-aged adults, seniors, and people with disabilities

  • Host domestic and international competitions and contests to develop creativity in convergence mathematics and science, and provide scholarships and awards for outstanding talent

  • Train professional instructors for the development of science culture, and operate delegated projects for private certification registration, examination, management, and vocational competency development

2. Strengthening Research Capacity in Convergence Mathematics and Science and Promoting Academic R&D

Goal:

Conduct specialized research based on convergence mathematics and science infrastructure, and create academic value through domestic and international networks.

Key Activities:

  • Conduct academic research in the field of convergence mathematics and science, and establish and operate specialized research institutes

  • Build a knowledge-sharing system through domestic and international academic exchange, expert forums, and seminars

  • Conduct research and development on digital technology, appropriate technology, and social innovation projects

3. Addressing Climate and Disaster Challenges and Solving Social Problems through Science and Technology

Goal:

Address the climate crisis and social challenges facing humanity through science and technology, and strengthen community resilience.

Key Activities:

  • Conduct science and technology-based research and education for climate change response, environmental protection, carbon neutrality, and energy transition

  • Carry out science and technology-centered community development projects to address social issues such as disaster response and poverty

  • Promote public interest, social contribution projects, and humanitarian support initiatives through the use of science, technology, and digital technology

4. Building Global Partnerships and Advancing Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)

Goal:

Support self-reliance in developing countries and vulnerable regions through international cooperation, and contribute to achieving the UN Sustainable Development Goals.

Key Activities:

  • Conduct R&D and disseminate technology to improve living conditions in developing countries and vulnerable regions, including access to clean water, sanitation, healthcare, agriculture, and food security

  • Expand digital education and STEAM education in vulnerable regions around the world, and foster talent

  • Build global partnerships and pursue joint research with domestic and international universities, research institutes, governments, international organizations, and non-profit organizations
