Four teenage girls from Lund, Sweden, will travel to Seoul this October to participate in the International Maths and Science Creativity Competition (IMSCC). This global competition brings together students from around the world to showcase their creativity and scientific skills, using 4Dframe, an educational modeling tool developed in Korea, as the official kit.
During the competition, participants will be challenged to design and build robot cars with 4Dframe parts within a limited time and drive them through an obstacle course. Teamwork, structural stability, and creative design will be the keys to success.
This year’s Swedish team is the first all-girl team from Lund to join IMSCC. In preparation, the students have been training by building small vehicles and scientific models with 4Dframe, gaining hands-on technical experience.
Philippe Longchamps, the supervising teacher, emphasized, “IMSCC is not just a robotics contest—it is a stage for integrated education where mathematics, science, technology, and the arts come together. By working with 4Dframe, students develop problem-solving skills as well as collaboration.”
Held annually in Korea, IMSCC gathers young people from multiple nations to engage in STEAM-based education and creative problem-solving challenges. 4Dframe, now distributed in more than 40 countries, is not only the official tool of IMSCC but is also widely used in classrooms worldwide as a powerful medium for science and math creativity education.
? Far beyond a competition, IMSCC is emerging as a global platform for creative convergence education through 4Dframe. The participation of the Swedish team this year highlights this international educational movement.
